Bee Cool Gaming, based in Raaba near Graz, was founded in 2018 as a subsidiary of adp MERKUR GmbH. The game design and development studio is responsible for the design of games for online casinos, from the initial idea through to audiovisual implementation and the finished product. We are looking at our site in Raaba near Graz (Austria) for a

(Junior) Mathematician Gaming (m/f/d)

Are you somebody who wants to take on responsibility, to contribute ideas in relation to our unique product and to further develop our game design studio with us? Then, you are in exactly the right place. The Mathematician uses advanced mathematical and statistical concepts and theories to analyze and collect data and construct solutions to business problems.

Responsibilites:
-As a Mathematician (m/f/d) you collaborate with the game art directors to create best possible game experience for our customers.
-You conceptualize game designs and create mathematical models that align with defined constraints and exhibit predetermined behavioral characteristics.
-In addition, you are responsible for all aspects of a mathematical design including implementation and gameplay in multiple projects.
-Further you pay meticulous attention to detail to achieve optimal designs, including math models, game logic and game relevant documentation.
-You also test mathematical outcomes to assure quality and accurate calculations.
-Finally, you extensively play test all games in studio development with detailed verbal or written feedback around all aspects of the player experience: math, art, sound, messaging, game pacing and user interface.

Qualifications:
-Degree in Mathematics with expertise in combinatorics, probability theory and statistics
-Knowledge of object-oriented program design is nice to have
-Outstanding data analysis and presentation skills
-Proficient in Microsoft Excel
-Work well with creative conflict in a collaborative environment
-Self-driven, responsible and detail oriented
-Experience in gaming industry is a plus
