SPAR ICS is the IT company of the SPAR Austria Group and takes care of all IT needs of SPAR, INTERSPAR, Hervis and SES Spar European Shopping Centers.

We are over 500 clever minds and have two agendas: The smooth shopping experience of all SPAR customers in 8 countries and the digital business processes „behind the shelves“ in the group.

You support us:

Technical lead for a technology stack in the point of sale environment

Management of technical product lifecycles with a focus on the strategy and vision of the company

Observing and evaluating new technologies and trends for appropriate use

Leading initiatives to improve company-wide standardization

Development of guidelines and blueprints for the area of ​​responsibility

You convince with:

Experience with hardware technologies and market overview of technology trends, ideally in the point of sale environment (cash registers and peripherals, scales, displays, back office PCs, MDE devices)

Well-founded middleware know-how (operating systems Windows and Linux, Java, …)

Methodological knowledge in project and requirements management as well as understanding of business services and processes

Excellent communication skills, independence, a strong sense of responsibility and a professional appearance

Successfully completed training in the IT sector

An attractive annual salary. For this position, this is well above the collective agreement, depending on your qualifications and experience (Junior from €45,000; Senior from €60,000)
