Your responsibilities:

• Together in a cross-functional, agile team, you will develop and operate our monitoring and reporting stack to provide, automate and continuously improve infrastructure and services for our customers

• Ongoing analysis of the market, evaluation of suitable DevOps technologies

• Improve our architecture into a modern distributed concept, and transfer of existing monolithic islands

• Merge different data sources and integrate them into the architecture

• Automate operational processes and integrate with our operating technologies

• Unify our stack towards Python

Ideally, your profile will look like this:

• Education with a focus on information technology

• In-depth Linux (CentOS/RedHat) knowledge and extensive experience in the development of applications with Python

• Experience with professional software engineering best practices for the entire software development lifecycle (coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing and operations)

• Interest in the further development in the backend and in the monitoring of systems

• Growth-oriented mindset and deep curiosity to constantly evolve and improve

• Tendency to go beyond the existing and always look for ways to improve things

• Strong command of the English language, German language skills would be very helpful

• Experience with some of our technologies, concepts and development processes is an advantage:

– OP5 (Nagios), Splunk

– PHP + Laravel, TypeScript + React

– Jenkins, Ansible, Ansible Tower

– Docker, Kubernetes
