Azure Data Engineer

Job Description

Your role will be to design, implement and maintain (big) data analytics, data warehouse and lake house solutions in Azure Data Plaform (Synapse, Azure Sql, Spark, Databricks, Data Factory,…).

You will be part of project teams that are mainly implementing agile approaches (SCRUM and/or other agile project & devlopment experience is a plus).

You should be fluent in at least one data transformation language (T/U-SQL, Python, Scala, R,..) as well as have an understanding of modern data warehouse (and lake house) architecture concepts, mainly centered around Azure Synapse.

Optional & welcomed skills:
– Knowledge in the consumer side of data (PowerBI, Tabular Model, …) is definitely a plus.
– Experience in DevOps/Git
– Shell scripting (Bash, Powershell, ..)
– Infrastructure as code (Bicep, Terraform)
