SPAR ICS is the IT company of the SPAR Austria Group and takes care of all IT matters of SPAR, INTERSPAR, Hervis and SES Spar European Shopping Centers.

We are over 500 clever minds and have two agendas: the smooth shopping experience of all SPAR customers in seven countries and the digital business processes „behind the shelves“ throughout the group.

You support us:

Development of software components and applications in an agile environment
Participation in the design and further development of a strategic core area (e.g. eCommerce, websites, mobile applications,
ERP, POS software, microservice-centric application integration)
Active exchange of knowledge in our internal developer community (coding dojos, meetups, etc.)
Continuous improvement of our standards and development processes
Participation in national and international projects

You convince with:

Enthusiasm for software development
Completed training in the IT sector and/or relevant professional experience
Good knowledge of Java development, modern open source frameworks (e.g. Spring) and/or container technologies (Docker, OpenShift, etc.)
Enjoys teamwork and solving problems together
Independence and proactivity, as well as analytical thinking and high quality awareness
German and English skills, both written and spoken

An attractive annual salary. For this position, this is well above the collective agreement, depending on your qualifications and experience (Junior from €35,000; Senior from €50,000)
