Your tasks:
Develop materials and processes for sub-micron structures and optical elements
Operate sub-micron fabrication equipment in ISO Class 4 cleanroom environment
Characterization of Micro Optical Elements with our Metrology Tools (Optical Microscope, Confocal Laser Scanning Microscope, SEM, AFM)
Project planning and prototyping together with our international customers for refractive and diffractive optical elements for industrial sensing, automotive and consumer market 

Your skills:
MSc, BSc in Applied Physics, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Electrical Engineering, or other scientific discipline
Excellent knowledge of German and English
Cleanroom and semiconductor experience advantageous
Scientific approach and data driven problem solving skills
Experience in statistical analysis, design of experiments and excellent documentation
Dynamic team oriented way of work

We offer you a gross annual salary in line with the market of at least EUR 42,000 and the willingness to pay more, depending on qualifications and professional experience.
 
This position is full-time and permanent at our plant in Thalgau and we aim to fill the position immediately.
