YOUR TASKS

• Responsible for global strategic sourcing of aluminium, wires and strands for the automotive sector
• Global sourcing, purchasing negotiations and drafting of framework agreements
• Independent planning and implementation of complex purchasing projects
• Professional supplier and contract management
• Interface between suppliers, internal departments and our international production sites
• Proactive market observation and analysis as well as escalation management
• Data analysis and conscientious reporting
• Metal Hedging (LME)
• Participation in projects to initiate innovative process improvements

YOUR PROFILE

• Relevant professional experience in strategic purchasing, ideally in a technical area and/or in a production company
• Completed economic and/or technical training
• Experience in metal hedging (LME)
• Very good MS Office and SAP skills (MM)
• Analytical way of thinking, structured approach and technical understanding
• Initiative, assertiveness and good communication skills
• Strong negotiation skills and organizational talent
• Business fluent English, German and any other language is an advantage
• Willingness to travel internationally (25-30%)

• We are legally obliged to state the minimum salary for this position. According to our collective agreement, this is EUR 2,620.80. The actual salary depends on your qualifications and previous experience and is agreed in a personal interview.
